Congratulations Linda Kooker. She got to go check out the Eagles live in LA. She also picked up a 4day/3night stay, a rental car and tickets to Universal Studios.

This is just a note to let you know how much my son, Nathan and I enjoyed our trip to Los Angeles, CA this past weekend. The hotel, car, and sites were fantastic and the Eagles concert was unforgettable! The new Nokia theater is awesome and features one of the best acoustical sound systems that I have ever heard. This was my son's first rock concert and he really enjoyed himself. The Eagles were preceded by the Dixie Chicks, who played for an hour. When the Eagles took the stage, they opened with their new hit, "How Long" and performed a couple of other new songs from their upcoming "Long Road Out of Eden" album. They played many of their hits including "Long Run", "Heartache Tonight", "Life's Been Good", "Hotel California", "Already Gone", "Life in the Fast Lane", "Dirty Laundry", and "Rocky Mountain Way". They did one encore of "Take it Easy" and "Desperado". They were as powerful as ever. What an amazing night!
We also toured Hollywood and enjoyed our day at Universal Studios, going to the Jurassic Park, Backdraft, and the Special Effects stages. The smoke from the recent wildfires was all around the city and could be seen everywhere. Our flights were good and we were treated wonderfully.
